White nationalism, Christian nationalism, and White supremacy are
often represented as "extremist" views perpetrated by radical fringes
of US society. In this series, we seek to challenge that view by
exploring "mainstream" manifestations of these perspectives and what
those representations suggest about how we might understand our
current social and political polarization. All participants are asked
to complete short readings and to come prepared to discuss them with
others in attendance. Readings can be accessed here:
