Event Description:

Barbara Hannigan's lecture, "Equilibrium," is focused on her program
of mentoring young professionals. Hannigan is an artist at the
forefront of creation, with artistic colleagues such as Christoph
Marthaler, Simon Rattle, Sasha Waltz, Kent Nagano, Vladimir Jurowski,
and John Zorn. As a singer, conductor - or both simultaneously - the
Canadian musician has shown a profound commitment to the music of our
time, and has given the world première performances of over 85 new
creations.
