Raw materials from China are used in making antibiotics, paracetamol,
and diabetes and cardiovascular drugs, among others. Companies
including Lupin, Sun Pharmaceuticals, Glenmark, Mankind, Dr Reddy's,
Torrent, Aurobindo Pharma and Abbott are hugely dependent on Chinese
imports.
