The Carr Center for Human Rights Policy and the Belfer Center for
Science and International Affairs welcome John Coughlan, former UN
Human Rights Officer, for a discussion of the current situation of the
Rohingya in the Rakhine state. In this conversation, Mr. Coughlan will
offer his perspective on the status of Rohingya in the Rakhine state
as well as inside the refugee camps of Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh.
Offering insights from the ground, the conversation will provide an
overview to the current crisis, the state of human rights, and the
growing lack of attention from the international community.
