Covid-19 impact: Govt won’t penalise companies hit by supply shortages

The memo, issued by the department of expenditure under finance
ministry, advised ministries that "disruption of supply chain due to
spread of Covid-19 in China, or any other country, would be considered
as a case of natural calamity and force majeure clause may be invoked
in appropriate cases".
