Telemedicine guidelines may lead to drug misuse and pose greater health risk: AIOCD

In a letter written to top government offices the AIOCD said newly the
formed Telemedicine Practice Guidelines notified by the Board of
Governors of the Medical Council of India by amending the Indian
Medical Council Regulation, 2002 are not in the accordance with the
provisions of Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 Pharmacy Act, 1948 and
rules and regulations.
